Produce Tax Slips – Same Time or Separately?

You now have the option to produce your provincial and federal tax slips at the same time or separately. We strongly advise you to produce both tax receipts at the same time to simplify the process. Here are both options:

At the same time: You can choose to generate both tax slips (provincial and federal) at the same time for all beneficiaries. If you have to modify, cancel or reprint a tax slip for any beneficiary, you can proceed with checking either the provincial or federal tax slips option or check both at the same time. The beneficiary name will then appear in the « Record Selection » screen.

Separately: You can choose to generate only the provincial or the federal tax slips for all beneficiaries. If you have to modify, cancel or reprint a tax slip for any beneficiary, you will have to check only one option at a time to do so. For example, if you need to modify a provincial tax slip for a beneficiary for whom the federal tax slip has not been done, you will need to check only the provincial option to be able to produce an amended provincial tax slip for this beneficiary. If you check both tax slips options at the same time (provincial and federal), the beneficiary will not appear in the “Record Selection” screen.
