Using direct payment

If you offer clients the possibility of settling their accounts online through their financial institution’s Web site, you can now use the “Direct Payment” option in the Payment Receipt wizard to enter their payments.

A direct payment to an account is a unit banking transaction (i.e. one payment per banking transaction) and not a deposit (i.e. many payments per banking transaction) as with all other methods of payment. This type of banking transaction is automatically reconciled.
